JC Peace movement helps the homeless

Please remember those less fortunate then yourself.

The Jersey City Peace Movement meets at Journal Square on the last Sunday of every month to help the homeless. Donations of warm clothing, blankets, and food are needed.

Now in its fourth year, the 12 Days of Science provide an exciting finish to the year with special family friendly activities that will make your holiday visit even more memorable!

Come to the Science Center between December 22 and January 2 (except for December 25) for all sorts of cool, winter-based activities: Funny Flavors Ice Cream Making, Insta-Snow, Mathemagician Art Benjamin, Bubblemania and much more! Schedules are subject to change without notice and space or supplies may be limited. Activities are available on a first come, first served basis. Most of the activities are free with paid admission but some require a sign up or extra fee, check activity details for more information.

JCAS presents In The Mood For Love (2001)

Originally titled "The Flower-Like Years," director Wong Kar Wai's delicately mannered tale of platonic romance captures the by-gone era of 1962 Hong Kong.

Two neighboring married apartment-dwellers Chow Mo-wan (Tony Leung, who won Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival for his role) and Su Li-zhen (Maggie Cheung) begin to suspect that their often-absent spouses are having an affair. Spending much of their free time together, the two begin a delicate romantic friendship, but vow never to behave like their unfaithful mates.
