ABOUT THE EVENT
Art House Productions, a leader in collaborative events within the arts community and organizer of JC Fridays, will be hosting the Jersey City Craft Mafia stop on the Jersey City Artists Studio Tour with a two-day handmade arts event with tutorials, demos, and other initiatives geared towards bringing crafts out of the home and forefront into the public's hands.

The event will feature 20 artists with the best in local handcrafted wares, in mediums that include jewelry, accessories, clothing, and soap. Shop the wares of Metal, Cloth and Wood, Damaged Wear, Lady Lucas, Bennyville, Cecile Raley Designs, Kiva Ford, Pink Velvet Bird, Lollibomb Beauty, and more!

Learn how to make pop-up cards, transfer images onto canvas, make your own earrings, and discover high fashion tie-die techniques with interactive tutorials led by participating artists Katherine Ramos, Joanne Simmons, Damarys Cuevas, and Anjelika Krishna.

The event will also include the Artisan Spotlight, with framed photos of local crafters at work in their studio space alongside their handmade story. Framed photos and story will be shared on the walls of Art House Production for the duration of the Jersey City Artists Studio Tour.

The work of Kayt Hester will be showcased for the duration of the show with her latest surreal creations made entirely of hand-ripped masking tape.
